Rudraksha & Tahitian Pearl Bracelet
Beloved the world over for its spiritual significance, the Rudraksha seed is especially held sacred by Hindus and Buddhists alike. Its Hindu origin story is quite moving as well, giving meaning to the name Shiva’s Tears.
After sitting in deep meditation for the wellbeing of humankind, Shiva opened his eyes. Upon reflecting on the world’s suffering, he was overcome with compassion and sorrow. At a loss for words, he began to heavily weep. As tears welled up, they fell from his eyes, and drenched the Earth below. The moʻolelo goes on to tell that the source of his grief was so strong, that in place of every tear drop, a beautiful Rudraksha tree grew.
A large tear drop shaped Tahitian pearl pairs perfectly with these cinnamon brown beads. This wears beautifully alone or in addition to layered bracelets.
